Every moment I passed  by

And walking along the lonely lane

Seeing  the Great  Old  Building

My Alma Mater

Loneliness creeping up…!!

I was there once

Praying along the corridor.

 

Every moment I passed by

Looking at the greenness field

That I used to play on

Kicking and chasing  the balls

And running where about

Thirty-six years ago !!

 

Every moment I passed by

Looking at the flagpole

Remembering the same old stories

The lovely Green Lady

That I couldn’t sleep at night!

 

Every moment I passed by

My Alma Mater

I’ll keep on singing …..

The Green, Green Grass of Home !!
